Handling Concepts, in partnership with      AiroLift™ Ergonomic Lifting Systems, offers a diverse product line of ergonomic material handling and manipulating systems.

These manipulators utilize clamps or vacuums to securely grip a wide range of parts. Operators can then effortlessly lift, rotate, and precisely position these parts, minimizing strain and injury risks. This not only safeguards your workforce but also accelerates production processes, making ergonomic lifting equipment a win-win for both safety and efficiency.

Industries that use Ergonomic Lifting Equipment

We have successfully designed and built manipulators in a multitude of industries and applications, including:

Automotive
Repetitive lifting on assembly lines can lead to worker fatigue and injuries. Handling Concepts' ergonomic lifting equipment combats this issue. Customizable manipulators precisely grip and position car parts, minimizing manual strain and preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Improved ergonomics promote worker comfort and reduce fatigue, ultimately leading to a more productive and healthier assembly line.

Applications: Vehicle Top, Hood and Door Lifters, Wheel and Tire Manipulators

Aerospace Manufacturing
Delicate components and strict quality control are crucial in aerospace. Ergonomic lifting equipment safeguards this process. Vacuum lifters gently yet securely handle sensitive parts, preventing damage during transfer and assembly. Precise positioning tools allow for effortlessly manipulating intricate components, ensuring accurate placement and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Applications: Ceramic Molds, Vacuum Lifters

Metal, Wood, Glass and Stone Manufacturing
Heavy lifting tasks often compromise worker safety and productivity. Ergonomic lifting equipment reduces the risk of injuries, boosts efficiency, and creates a safer work environment.

Applications: Large Glass Sheets and Windows, Sheet Metal, Wood Panels, Stone Block Manipulators

Food, Beverage, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Processing
Where cleanliness and sanitation is required, these lifters are constructed of 316L stainless steel and/or anodized aluminum for food, drug and chemical industries.

Applications: Food Grade Wash Down Environments

Ergonomic Lifting Equipment Customization

AiroLift™ Ergonomic Lifting Systems can be designed to lift and manipulate objects weighing 30 lbs to 1200 lbs made from almost any type of material. AiroLift™ can even be used in food grade wash down and clean-room environments as well as production process situations and high temperature environments.

Manipulator System Features

Each manipulator system features a full 360° rotation ball bearing mounted top swivel, so your air lines will never tangle. All pneumatic logic controls are housed safely under a protective bellows, located for easy maintenance and a clean, dust free environment. The pneumatic logic is great for long term, low maintenance operation, keeping operating costs very low and eliminating the need to run costly electrical connections. All AiroLift™ units run off of clean, dry shop air and have low SCFM requirements and low dB levels.

OSHA and NIOSH Standards for Manipulator Systems

AiroLift™ manipulators comply with the recommended OSHA and NIOSH standards, feature catastrophic air loss protection, and sensors that prevent a load from being released until it has been placed.
